Re: [T3] Looking for T3 Automatic Tranny & Air

When I had my automatic I started looking around on the intranet for places
that would possibly sell a rebuilt one when that day came where mine would
finally give out. I am in Southern California and the only place I saw one
was at ISP -- here is their intranet page that lists transmissions and/or
transmission parts
http://www.vwispwest.com/cgi-bin/perlshop.cgi?ACTION=thispage&thispage=cat3_
301.htm&ORDER_ID=242742600. Although I periodically hear people say tha ISP
is rather costly, I don't mind paying a bit more to get the item that I want
knowing it will be in good condition. You can also try my local VW junkyard
at http://www.vdubjunkie.com/legal.html. Depending on where you are at I am
not sure if a junkyard will ship. Plus, I do not know how it would play out
should the transmission be no good. Good luck.
