If your car has been driving okay recently, then I wouldn't suspect the fuel pump. The pump is under the front end of the car and you can hear it run for about 1 second after you turn the key ON. You may want to get a friend to turn the key while you kneel down next to the RF tire and listen. If you don't hear the pump run, listen for a relay click when you turn the key ON, and then a second click about 1 second later. Do you hear these clicks? If you hear the clicks, but the pump doesn't run, check the fuses. If you don't hear the clicks, then something has gone wrong with the wiring somewhere. Let us know what you find. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
