Yes, ouch. That particular bodge is a bad one. That's one thing you'll want to 
fix. Putting the FI back would be hard, but you could watch for a complete OEM 
carb setup, which would be good.

The Bentley is head and shoulders above the Clymer. You'll break down and buy 
the Bentley eventually, so the sooner you do this the more grief you'll save 
yourself.

The Bentley isn't perfect; there are errors in it, too. The Haynes is a close 
second, especially for early cars and those with OEM carbs, but the Clymer 
isn't even in the same race.
