If the broken pieces of plastic are the ones that hold the serpentine spring or the canceling tab, then those can be replaced by parts from any other year or model. You have to take the switch out to do this, and you MAY have to break the loop that holds the front and back half together on the right. You can then spread the front plate out enough to get the parts in and out. I think there's a detent ball you may have to be careful not to lose. Even if you have to break the loop, the 4 mounting screws will hold it all together just fine once you get it installed. I've fixed a lot of these this way over the years. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
