>One thing to remember Everett, since you fuel fill is in the trunk, shut the gas heater off 5 minutes before you put gas in the car. Also make sure the gasket on the gas cap it is top shape, and that all the vent lines are in good shape. No raw gas fumes in the trunk. > Ok. I don't know if this is true of the Eberspachers but this heater keeps running after you turn it off. The combustion shuts off but the fan continues running until the heater cools down. I will use that as a safety timer. -- Everett Barnes '63 Square '66 Type 34 http://www.thesamba.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
