[T3] popout windows?

I found a pair of pop out windows for a 67 Squareback on the samba and was
wondering if they would fit on my 71 squareback. And does anybody know of
any downside to these windows. I don't see them on a lot of cars and was
wondering if there's a reason for that. Any help or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
