I didn't realize it was there, but there's a very good illustration in the type 3 Bentley manual, ch. 2, pg. 36, fig.12-2. They're in fig. 12-1 also, but harder to see. Note that the "hump" that retains the bead on the inside of the rim is a "dip" when felt from the outside, so these rims are easy to tell apart even with the tire in place.
