The old 30hp (36bhp) engine has the smaller heat exchanger pipes, but I'm sure
my 1600 camper (upright) engine uses the same as the Type 3, which is the same
as the Beetle tailpipes.

Checking the part number for the 'asbestos' ring for the heat exchanger pipes
and the small-bore damper pipe on the Type 3 gives 111 251 241 so it's the same
as the Type 1 (from '61 on anyway).
