[T3] Aftermarket Exhaust and FI

This is my first post, so I hope it works.

I'm in the process of assembling a FI fastback.  The old muffler is shot and
needs to be replaced.  I know that the FI engine can not be retuned, but is
it necessary to use an original exhaust/muffler or can I use extractors.  I
ask because original type 3 muflers are AU$450-500, whereas extractors are
$350.
