Hi all, Today I took the carb completely apart and cleaned all of the passages out with some carb cleaner spray. I also machined a brass piece up for the accelerator pump needle valve. I just guessed the dimensions of it based on a couple of pictures I found, but it has made a big difference. I can actually accelerate up hills, and my flat spots have all gone. It really runs well now, it must have just had a blockage in there somewhere. BTW, is the rubber elbow that joins the carb onto the air cleaner the same as on FI engines?
