Not at all impossible. My parents had a 1964 type 35 converted to type 
36, which had a lot of rust by 1976, when they simply gave it away. 
Among other things, the battery fell out of the car, which wasnt older 
than 12 years at the time.

On the other hand, my 1964 type 1 is very solid, when it was restored 
some 8 years ago there was hardly any rust at all, which is unusual on 
any car that old, in this part of the world.
