Oh no... I thought it was just my own intellectual
immaturity that led me to that conclusion. I figured
if I could become more self-actualized and find a way
to abandon my fatalistic view of the universe that I
could ditch the "other shoe dropping" paranoia.

So it isn't paranoia, but rather, law?

That's really depressing.
