If you have leaks, they will leak more when hot, and the air will blow them off once the drips build up on the bottom of the engine. You might want to see if you can fix the leaks. I've even found that the lower case seam bolts can loosen up, and sometimes rather "major" leaks can be almost completely solved by carefully tightening these.
