Assuming this just vibrated around a bit, just press in (for grip) and twist it to the right position. I found this out waiting at a long light (6-way intersection) when I was trying to tweak the orientation of the whole gauge (it was off by a few degrees) when accidentally just twisted the fuel gauge tick-marks.
