to the type4 secrets reveled link, Tuna does a nice job of letting you know
what you might need for the conversion. I don't have any idea what the cam
specs are, but the case would be a good one for ant upgrade. It sounds like
the P&Cs are just 87mm slip ins. I too am surprised at the 311 prefix, but
then most T-1 engine hard parts have that prefix (like rods and bearings, oil
pumps, etc...). You could also go to Tom Hansons site;
http://home.att.net/~drsowatt/index.html and look up what he has done to his
beautiful Notch. This would be a great conversion for Jane though. :) I hope
this helps, and gives you a couple of ideas.
