All LHD with mile speedos, non-flashing headlight dipping, plus whatever else the USA market had different (probably some things different in '63) and a ship waiting to fill up with VWs and head off to the USA. When I visited VW at Wolfsburg in 1994 they were making all mixtures - even LHD and RHD on the same line. Maybe collecting the Type 3 chassis numbers would show a pattern. How similar are the chassis numbers for your two, Everett? Dave.
