My '69 Squareback starred in a Kohl's (Midwest Department store) commercial about 1997. However the company that produced it cut the Squareback scenes because one of their clients was a large American Auto Maker and they did not want to jeapordize the relationship having a VW in one of their ads :-( But we still go paid. I wish I had the footage, it had a bunch of kids frolicing around it in Kohl's clothes at a warehouse in downtown Detroit.
