[T3] Tranny plug size? and Question of the day...

Quick question..
What is the actual size [ mm] of the tranny drain/fill Allen cap?


Also-
This week I am going to try to tow a Type1 (not mine) from P-town to Cali-

This is for a friend who purchased it on line..
The deal with the car is this...Its stuck in gear..not sure which gear..but
in order for me to dolly this thing i need the back wheels to spin. What can
cause it to not pop out of gear?
Any "quick fixes" I can do to get the wheels to spin?...I really don't want
to tow this thing backwards,I can only image the disaster this might
cause,and unfortunately a full trailer is out of the question.....The car is
a complete mystery..But I do know this : It is a 67 (swing axle) with
complete 1500cc motor.
Tonight I am going over to investigate this beast. 
Thoughts? Ideas?
