A couple of weeks ago there was a smell of fuel when cornering - can't be the breather hose, I only replaced it a couple of years ago (actually it was!) - so I took a look around and nothing very obvious. I was about to restart the engine, and thought I'd take a look in the compartment first.... No problem or smell there. Hmmm. Locked the car (button down and trigger in - no key needed) and went in the house. Didn't use the car for a couple of days - funny, where are my keys? Very rare for me to mislay them. Well, the spare ones were where they should be, so I went out to the car, and there were my other ones, in the ignition, with ignition on - well, it would have been if there had been any power left in the battery!
