The F distributor above is curved for dual carbs, so I would try that first. This should wok fine for stock displacement. The perfect choice would be a T, I think, but those are unusual. Daniel Baum may have ideas there. It does not appear that you have any other Type 3 distributor on hand anyway, so it seems the point is moot, but in response to your second post I run an L distributor, vacuum/mechanical designed for FI, on my dual-carb engine with great results. I would not recommend fiddling with the other distributors you have except on an experimental basis.
