[T3] '65 Type 34 found

Last Wednesday night I bought a 1965 343 in Mesa, AZ.

(More later)

Details:
1915cc dual port engine
12v conversion
Scat Pro-car seats (original seats included)
Hurst shifter
Electronic ignition
"Baby" Webers

There is very small rust hole under the battery and what looks like some
heavy surface rust in the lower section of the left side rear fender well.

The brakes are still 5-lug with recent brake work. It has new tie-rods,
a new clutch, a new battery, new carbs., a new starter, and a new coil.
The interior has Scat Pro-car seats. The engine was built in 1992 but only
has about 2,000 miles on it.

The paint is old.

Included with the purchase were a variety of used original parts, the original
front seats, a pair of front drums, a set of Weber 42 DCNF carburetors,
and some 12v starters and coils.

I'm considering reinstalling the Weber 42 DCNFs, the previous owner said
the car was MUCH faster with them. He only installed the baby Webers because
his daughter was driving the car for a while and "I didn't want her driving
a VW that with that much power".

It is my new daily driver. My plans are to gather the missing parts and
work on it as needed as I continue to search for a more original Type 34.

The only serious downside is the fact that the radio section of the dash
has been hacked up. If anyone has a donor section, let me know.

I am compiling a list of parts needed, it will probably be a big list.
