The crimp ferrule must be cut away to release the hose that is under it. I use a hacksaw while the injector is clamped carefully in a vise. You have to be careful not to cut into the hose barb that is inside the hose, so stop cutting as soon as you get thru the ferrule and into the hose. You could also use a Dremel or just a bench grinder.
