In fact, I wonder if it is a Girling rather than a Teves. Does it have ATe cast into it? Volvo has always been known for interchanging those 2 makes. The extended beveled ends on the pads are to contact the wear indicator bump cast into the rotor surface, inboard from the friction surface. Our rotors never got these.
