I've never used it and don't plan to.  It's not necessarily because it's a
bad piece (as I don't really know), but rather because it's not in line with
how I want to build engines.

See, the Pertronix II system thinks for you.  It has a bunch of funny
features to adjust dwell and whatnot.  I see where this is useful to some,
but not me.

If I want to build a cheapy thing that just runs, I'll just use a regular
unit to save money.  If I want to build a hi-tech performance engine, I'll
use a hi-tech ignition and/or injection setup.  For these, I don't want a
smart sensor.  I want a dumb sensor that tells me only what I want :-).
