Hello- > I've always remember hearing people talk about the CompuFire being a better unit. > Anyone have any experience with the Pertonix "II" system? Any thoughts on it Shad? I've never used it and don't plan to. It's not necessarily because it's a bad piece (as I don't really know), but rather because it's not in line with how I want to build engines. See, the Pertronix II system thinks for you. It has a bunch of funny features to adjust dwell and whatnot. I see where this is useful to some, but not me. If I want to build a cheapy thing that just runs, I'll just use a regular unit to save money. If I want to build a hi-tech performance engine, I'll use a hi-tech ignition and/or injection setup. For these, I don't want a smart sensor. I want a dumb sensor that tells me only what I want :-).
