Martin, I have a 69 Square with AT and carbs. On mine it even came with the
special kick down part of the pivot that allows the kick down to operate
correctly. I've since replaced my 009 in it, and I'm still waiting to see if my
mileage will come up from the previous 25 to 26 mpg I was getting. I think it will
work fine for you, mine came to me with them, and I think one of its previous
owners worked very hard on this combo to get it to work right, as the trans
shifts great, does everything according to the Bentley book, and I think I'm
starting to like it (its growing on me, the AT that is). I hope this helps.
