On the cars I'm familiar with, the oil switch wire and the AT AAR wire come out 
of their own branch of the loom.

Those, plus generator computer diagnosis wires, all go to the generator.

Those come out of a branch of their own. It took me a LONG time to realize that 
VW installed the AAR wire on all cars and then just cut it off short on MT 
cars.  ;-) The other end of that wire is usually still attached to the fuel 
pump relay.
