Last night I removed my 1969 Fastback's Cold Start solenoid and Cold Start sensor. I did not realize that the electrical connections for Cold Start components and the Throttle Position Sensor share the same wiring harness 'branch'. As I was neatly taping up the cold start electrical leads and tie-wrapping them to the rear of the engine bay I tugged just a little too hard and somehow pulled the leads out of the little plastic connector that fits in the Throttle Position Sensor mechanism. What's my best option? 1) Try to reinsert the two wires into that little plastic connector? If so, does their relative positioning matter? 2) Try to find an intact connector with wires? I could then cut the leads and solder them to my existing harness. (I think this is probably the best option but may take a week or so to find a donor?) 3) If left unrepaired (infinite resistance) - will the computer think that my throttle is fully open or fully closed? I'll assume the opposite to be true if I short the two leads together. Thanks, Edward __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
