Re: [T3] Coil wire (and other wires)

<x-flowed>I have one or two loose wires in the engine compartment, but other than that it's all wired up. No, the local dealer doesnt have the equipment anymore.

I've occasionally wondered about this "computer analysis" thing. Does
anybody still have it all wired up? Does any garage (or anyone else) still

Just wondering what people do with the wires that are
supposed to go to the "computer analysis" provided by
VW back in the day? For instance, under the back seat
by the battery I have a striped (stri-ped, not
stripped) wire that (according to the Bentley) looks
like it might have only been used to provide feedback
to the analysis computer that the battery is charged
or something. Did older VW batteries have a connection
for this? Do people just tape them off now? Looks like
there are supposed to be a bunch of them in various
places.

A brown wire is a ground wire. It shouldnt have
anything to do with the
engine running bad.
