Thanks again for the info. I'll have to go thru the box of FI parts I got with the car, maybe I'll get lucky and have a complete setup. I'll check the Bentley and probably take a few pictures to solicit some opinions here. I decided to change the timing for my drive to work today. I figure I can just take the timing light with me to emissions, park a block or 2 away and change it back. Anyway, my timing marks look like this: | | | | 1 234 I had it set at position "1", which is very little power. I moved it to position "3" and it seems to be doing quite well. I'm sure this is an obvious question, but what are the dangers/disadvantages/advantages in moving too far clockwise or counterclockwise? Oh, and I did figure out one thing that might be helpful to someone else. The small opening on the fresh air boot is much harder to get on than the large one. If you leave the large one completely unconnected, you can reach your hand thru and connect the small one from the inside. Doing the large one from the outside is not very difficult. Thanks for all the help, Adam ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
