Yup, on all my distributors. It would be a huge PIA to try to time a Type 3
with a Type 1 clamp, wouldn't it? Maybe my setup, since it's earlier, is
different enough to allow that extra bit of clearance -- 6V fan shroud and
small-diameter generator, for instance.

I prefer the combination of mechanical and vacuum advance for freeway
cruising. My motor is modified in many small ways.
