was: [T3] russ, i really need your brain! now: i have a driver!
<x-flowed>well, the 73 square is starting to become a parts car of sorts for me...
since the PO screwed it up to the point of major re-engineering, i have
no guilt borrowing parts in interim. anyway, the 73 caliper fit the car
without issue on the driver's side. but, the one that came off is
shaped very different, so maybe 412?
so now i just need a caliper for the 73 again on the driver's side...
then, on the passenger side, i would like to go to the 73 set up as well
(bigger brake pads!) and that will be ideal for what is starting to
happen with the daily driver.
keith, don't look, but my SLICKS should be here monday or tuesday and
the the fit nicely under the notch for some bracket racing... man, i
love this stuff; even after the frustrations! so, for the moment, the
car is safe to drive, and no more imbalanced than it was before the
caliper freeze up.
so, if you have need for an early right front disk brake set up, and
have a late model right front disk brake set up... email me!!! thanks
all... and btw, when russ' brain isn't available, jim's works great ;-)
