Use the cheapest gas that doesn't make it ping or knock. Ping or knock is often 
likened to the sound of slowly dropping a handful of ball bearings into a steel 
trash can. It happens on low rpm, wide open throttle conditions. If you hear 
this sound, let up on the throttle and use better gas next time.

There is NO advantage to using a higher octane gas than that which your engine 
needs to prevent knock.
