That's an interesting coincidence. I lived in the same town at that 
time and graduated from a rival high school there in the same year, 
1980. I don't remember ever having seen a Type 34 Ghia in the time I 
lived there. Years later I developed an interest in Type 3s and for 
some reason I decided I really needed a Type 34, so I found a white 
1963 model and I've owned Type 34s ever since. Who knows? Maybe I saw 
Everett's car on the road 25 years ago and made a subconscious mental 
note to buy one just like it one day? Could've happened...
