Daniel, I'm running an 043 905 205H (for a 74 bug) in my Roadster Project and
my 69 Square AT. Its been working very well for me in both cars. The big
thing is to keep the total timing under 30 degrees with them as Jim pointed out.VW
recommends it be timed at 7.5 BTDC too. I wasn't sure how it would react with
the dual Solex's since its really a single carb dizzy, but it seems to be
working real well (its vac is hooked into just the left carb). I've been getting
about the same fuel mileage that I was with the 009 that Keith and Shad say is
so bad, so I swapped it out to try it. All is good so far. This dizzy is both
vac and mechanical advance. I hope this helps.

69 Square AT- the baby suburban
65 Roadster project- formerly a cut up Square (no type3s were harmed
in its construction as it was built from junk parts)-now running on its own
