[T3]

Hello all,

Went for a drive today....

As some of you might recall, I am having problems setting the valves on
my #2 cylinder, once again I tried setting it, followed the procedures
to a T and #2 still wont loosen, even if I unscrew the screw all the
way, still can't slip a feeler gauge behind it on both intake and
exhaust. I had someone turn the engine while I look at it, and it looks
normal just like the other valves. Took out a small hammer, tapped on
it, applied pressure while using the feeler, nothing.

Does this mean my valves are burnt? I think before I did this valve job,
it had probably been a long time since they were last done....

Anyway, I set the timing, oiled the disty, cleaned the rotor, adjusted
the points and went for a ride.

It started right up and ran very smoothly unlike the last time I drove
it. The only problem is it has no power at all. Took about 2 minutes
to get up to ~52mph and I had to hold it to the floor to maintain it.
Take offs are very slow, and take liberal use of the clutch taking off
on a very slight incline. Drove it for about an hour, it didnt seem to
overheat or act funny, just no power.

I was thinking maybe it wasn't running on the #2 cylinder because of the
messed up valves, but when I pulled the #2 spark plug wire, the idle
became rough, so I know its firing.

Any ideas on the cause? Fuel system? Spark plugs/wires? Coil? Messed up
advance?

Thanks!
Ben
