I've long said that there should be 12 step programs for VW people. It would go something like this........... A room full of people. The old timers are wearing old, torn Bug-In shirts from 15 years ago. The shirts no longer fit, but you can't just throw away an old Bug-In shirt. The newer guys would be wearing shirts from the event that happened just last month, or maybe even a Neuspeed or Autotech shirt. Someone would get up, stagger to the podium.....ehem, my name is Doug, and I own 5 VW's.....HI DOUG the audience would reply...........and on and on and on. You could have these groups in every town and city across the globe. Only problem is, instead of working on getting rid of cars, most members would show up, in order to buy, sell or trade parts and cars.
