 John J. did this when he fixed his rear floor of his Square, and I used his 
method on my own Square.The reason behind the tape was to keep some of the 
POR15 in the spot instead of it running out the hole onto the ground. I did use 
the fiberglas cloth method, without adding the resin though, which is what John 
did on his. I hope this helps.
