Leon, where are you able to get new FI fuel pumps? Or even rebuilds? Didn't think they were available anymore. Anything making the pump work harder than it should or not properly cool? Dirty/clogged fuel filter or in-tank sock? Maybe the relay contacts getting resistive? When you replace the pump, put a new relay in at the same time. Frankly, I'm impressed with the quality of my original (as far as I know) FI fuel pump. With 130k miles on it, it still works fine. Just replaced the pump in my '96 Suburban (120k mi).
