Nope, not gonna do it. We already talked about this, and we're just going to build a canvas top that snaps on (for winter storage and when it rains and not in use). This car only has a windsheild and wing windows, and thats how its going to stay. I wanted to feel the wind blowing thru whats left of my hair. : ) If I want to have a hard top, I'll drive the Notch with the sunroof open. : ) A friend of mine kept trying to get me to build a removeable hard top for it, but once I explained to him that this is a summer only car to be driven on nice days, he then understood. I mean I have 2 other type3s here that I can drive at any time the weather is iffy. And I'd probably take the Square then, as its just a driver anyway. Hope I didn't burst your bubble, thanks for looking at the pics. I still like your earlier line,"Even I dont get upset seeing Darkside cars when they are resurrected from piles of bleached bones!!" Bob 65 Notch S w/ Sunroof 69 Square AT- the baby suburban 65 Roadster project- formerly a cut up Square (no type3s were harmed in its construction as it was built from junk parts)-now running on its own ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
