The 3M stuff that I've used seemed absolutely great to me for vinyl and the damping material that's on the roof. It really does help to let it dry a bit before expecting it to hold, but if you let it dry as long as they say you won't be able to reposition it. 3M also makes a weatherstrip & trim adhesive that comes in a tube and is very good. My 69 has aftermarket carpet that is glued down with something that is WAY too strong. I was forced to damage the carpet to get to my master cylinder. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
