actually like scott said-some glues you actually want to set to the point
that they have at least a film on them, before sticking the two pieces
together.

one thought-try contact 3M and tell them the problems you had, and they may
have another product they recommend...

Yes the weather has played a little bit of a factor. Because its so hot and
dry the glue sets very fast. I had to hurry up and bond the two pieces while
it was semi wet. All Im gluing is carpet and pad.
