If you look at the laundry list, it may seem harder to do (need to unbolt CVs, clutch cable, shift coupler, starter wires, reverse switch wires, and front tranny mount), but all that is very straightforward stuff. It just seems to me that the final part of putting the engine back into a tranny that doesn't stay in one place very well is a royal pain... Plus, it gives you a chance to regrease your CVs and check your tranny fluid level with incredible ease. Adding fluid to a tranny was never easier :-).
