I guess I haven't done many of the ATs and obviously I was thinking of the MT cars. I can't visualize what would be in the way with an AT. I think that bolt is quite long on an AT so the head is quite a bit farther forward than on an MT car. It's possible that the charcoal cannister is in the way. The dipstick tube certainly come up there, but I think an extension would get around that. It's possible that you didn't have quite the right length of extension. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org
