<x-flowed>I checked all my speaker connections and everything is fine.
I am going to the JVC service center to have my stereo replaced, it must be 
damaged.

My concern is: could my electrical setup in the car be causing the stereo to 
be damaged.

I am running power from fuse 9, and it does have an inline fuse. Fuse 9 is 
also powering the accessory cigarette lighter, which is grounded to the 
bottom of the glove box.

Could going directly to the battery, rather than accessory, cause this in 
any way?
