Okay, then examine your speaker wiring carefully from one end to the other. 
Splices in the wire are a bad thing because they will inevitably come back to 
haunt you by shorting to something. Look for frayed wires at the ends which may 
have touched something unintended. This could cause the amp to shut down, or 
just destroy the output stage.

Look inside for an output stage fuse.

That certainly seems a lot less likely to give trouble. Check the wires to make 
sure that nothing got pinched if you adjusted the seat postion, for example.
