Re: [T3] Speaker Mystery

<x-flowed>>What do you mean by "The stereo was working, but no sound?"

The stereo face plate is still lit, I can still change stations, and the EQ still bounces up and down.

The PO did cut holes in the doors for speakers, but the panels were shot. I have new panels from TMI and decided not to put speakers in them. I am running speaker wire directly from the deck to a standalone speaker box on the back seat, no mounting.

Thank you,

Gary Gamboa

What do you mean by "The stereo was working, but no sound?"

My first guess is that something vibrated loose. Now you've either got an open
circuit somewhere, or your speaker wires shofted to ground and blew the output
transistors. It seems unlikely that the latter would have happened on both
sides at the same time, however.
