My '67 came with one of the linkages being stripped - it was completely rigged in there (I forget how, I just remember thinking I was surprised it worked, and it came apart really easily) I went to the Orange Borg (home depot) and bought some appropriately-sized round steel stock, cut it to length, and soldered the linkage heads/sockets on. Very sturdy and very cheap. I wonder if they're still made and if anyone imports them. -- boinger <boinger@qamail.transora.com> ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
