Re: [T3] Carb Balancing Revelation

the way to most precisely balance your carbs is not by air flow,
> but by manifold pressure ( or vacuum)

That sounds a bit like my system, except mine works from the slightly lower
pressure above each carb, which just needs a small tube (tyre valve cap to cover
it in use) fitted into the air-cleaner top over each carb. A clear plastic tube
to make a paraffin manometer that hangs down in the space behind the engine
(rear is rear) completes the device - cost is no more than £1 ($1, 1Euro, 1Peso
etc !). It leaves the air cleaner in place and allows checking the balance at
higher engine speeds simultaneously.

If you're worried about the damage to the air-cleaner, use a rusty spare one!

It works well for me - the previous owner had set it up and explained how to use
the modification.
