,Im glad I checked this out...I put a new diaphragm in my pump, from the material that Russ gave me, and when putting it back togeather the spring puts some initial tension on the diaphragm... I simply tightened the outer screws up after mating the halves. Should I mount the pump... loosen the outer screws allowing the diaphragm slip a bit, then tighten them??
