You just have to check resistances and continuity on each component, one by one, under the conditions specified. Then, you compare the readings with the specs (which are listed in the Bentley and in the Elfrink FI manual). It's just a more time-consuming process, but you get good results if you just work slowly and try to understand what each component is doing and what the readings mean. I really like the Elfrink FI manual for this.
